New networking group launched - iProperty Network - in St Albans.

iProperty Network Club – St Albans and Harpenden Launch
Thursday 7th October 2010 sees the first Networking event of the newly launched iProperty Network Club. Whilst they are many other local and national networking groups such as BNI, 4Networking, NRG and others, the iProperty Network is unique in many ways, not least in that it is only for property professionals. The first meeting for the St Albans area is being held on the 7th October - Rose and Crown, Sandridge, St Albans, AL4 9DA - 6pm - 7.30pm and then every Thursday.
Graham Phelps, founder of the iProperty Network, comments: “I have spent years networking and KNOW it is one of the best ways to grow your business, but not the only way. Plus, I found it difficult to find a group that really gave me what I was looking for with my Estate Agency business – so I came up with the concept of iProperty Networking.”
Graham spent over 12 months researching all the best networking groups in the UK, and also talked to those that attend them. The result is a ‘networking’ group that combines a high-quality promotional website, quarterly printed local trade directory (which is distributed to thousands of homes and businesses) a discount supplier base and a different style of informal meeting.
“Property people gain most from networking as we all share the same customers. What members look for in group like this is joint projects with fellow professionals, regular referrals and business friendships. The fact that we can add online marketing and offline print marketing is a real, and very valuable, bonus. Not only can it save thousands of pounds in businesses doing their own marketing, it is actually more effective when combined with others from the same industry."
Meetings are held weekly from 6pm to 7.30pm and feature guest supplier presentations as well as business updates and referral sharing from members. Membership is to all those working in the property professions and related fields.
