Pressbox (Press Release) -

The latest movie from actor and TAG Heuer Watches Ambassador Leonardo Di Caprio opened in the UK last Friday (20th January) on a number of cinema screens. The figures for its first week run have not yet been revealed, however, the Clint Eastwood directed biopic has produced positive reviews from a number of critics for the acting of the films leading man.

However, the movie was far from pleasurable for the star. To portray the portly FBI chief he required four hours of make up every morning. The regime included wearing a fat suit, a full bald cap with punched in hair, false teeth and a number of prosthetics glued on to his forehead, cheeks, mouth, neck and hands.

The role followed the career of the man who was at the heart of American law enforcement machine from his early 20’s until his death aged 77. Despite high hopes for the film, which also features Social Network leading man Armie Hammer as Associate FBI director Clyde Tolson, it has failed to deliver Oscar nominations.

Behind the scenes however, TAG Heuer Watches Ambassador DiCaprio has been giving a number of interviews to promote the film and questions obviously arise about his love life. Last year, the 37-year-old TAG Heuer Watches Ambassador and actor split from 'Gossip Girl' actress Blake Lively after five months of dating and has been linked to several models since. Currently the J Edgar actor is dating the Victoria’s Secret model Erin Heatherton.

Nevertheless, it may not be all plain sailing for the new beau. In an interview with the Daily Express Di Caprio commented that he compares all of his girlfriends to his mother, Irmelin.

The actor is currently in Sydney filming The Great Gatsby for director Baz Luhrmann and is preparing to portray Frank Sinatra in a new biopic of the entertainer that is set to be directed by Martin Scorsese.
