This new single features a track called "No Love Child" which was written by Leeds based GLP artists Cara Robinson and Wayne Pollock.
The song "No Love Child" is one of the tracks on Irish born singer / songwriter Cara Robinson's stunning debut album "Keep'er Lit" which was released by Indie label GLP last November.
Cara Robinson has previously written and recorded with many notable artists including David Holmes, LTJ Bukem and Corinne Bailey Rae. ( Cara sang backing vocals on "Put Your Records on"). Cara has toured throughout the UK as session singer, backing vocalist and solo artist. As backing singer for Sony's Rhianna she toured Japan and the UK supporting Jamiroquai and Beverley Knight and her soulful, thoughtful and innocent voice has also featured on many documentaries for Ulster television.
"Keep'er Lit" is an impressive debut album which Cara co-wrote with keyboard player and producer Joe Tatton. The album acknowleges all that is good about Blues, Folk, alt-country and rock and gives more than a nod of gratitude to Cara's roots in Northern Ireland. The album has recently received airplay on BBC 6 music's Funk and Soul show.

Released by GLP on 7th November 2006 "Keep'er Lit" is out now on iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody, Emusic, Musicload and Passalong. Special limited edition cover CD's are also available exclusively from Amazon.

GLP ( Groove Laboratory Productions ) was established in 2004 pulling together the leading artists in Funk, Soul, Jazz and Blues from the vibrant Leeds music scene. Their catalogue also includes Funk band Capri, Soul artist Lara Rose, Jazz pianist Jamil Sheriff, Rock band Dirty Mammoth, the Steve Parry Big band and Jazz veteran Tony Faulkner. GLP has a digital distribution deal and the label also has music licensing deals with Ricall of London and Pump Audio New York.
GLP plan to release three seperate compilation CD's in the coming Spring. The three albums will be made up of tracks in Jazz, Funk/Soul and Blues/Rock respectively and will include tracks by all artists on the labels current catalogue as well as new material from six brand new artists who will also be adding their debut releases to GLP's rapidly expanding roster.
