When he's not onstage playing bass guitar with Dublin band Sack, Keiron Black's solo journey traverses a beguiling mixture of abstract storytelling and unstoppable energy, culminating in a unique experience that doffs his bowler hat to Beefheart while winking at Hamell On Trial.
The Amazing Few (featuring Colm Querney on guitar, Bill BlackMoore on trumpet, Matt Lunson, Miriam Ingram and Sorcha Leech on vocals, Brian O'Toole and Zamo Riffman on Rhythm) , His appearance at the Birr Vintage Festival where he recorded live his song "Sponsored" for inclusion on " The Garden Sessions" a charity compilation for Hospice that also features live recordings from Mark Geary, Roesy, Joe Chester, The Pale and Mundy, due out in September.
With his debut E.P.– produced by Colm Querney – in the can , Mr. Black is planning to wow Irish audiences - just like he has done in New York, Melbourne, Paris, Lyon and Switzerland – with a roller coaster ride of open hearted emotion, frantic guitar playing and massive dollops of charisma. Hold on to your hat, the ride is about to begin!
