Islamic Group Target Publisher’s Web Site

Bluechrome Publishing’s Web Site Hacked By Islamic Group and
Altered To Display Anti-Semitic Propaganda

Bluechrome Publishing today confirmed that their web site, www.bluechrome.co.uk was targeted by an Islamic Group and “Hacked” to display images of Adolph Hitler, Osama bin Laden and what purported to be an execution of a Palestinian by Israeli Security Police. In addition to the images anti Israeli and American slogans were also added to the site.

Anthony Delgrado, Editor in Chief of bluechrome said,
“Obviously we were shocked when our Poetry Editor, Ronnie Goodyer, noticed that the site had been attacked and we are at a complete loss to know why it was us that received the Hacker’s attention. It has been suggested that there may be a link between our recent release of “Seven Sweet Things” by Shaun Levin, the highly acclaimed Jewish author, but there was no mention of Shaun or his work in the propaganda, and we therefore find this unlikely ”.

Ronnie Goodyer, Poetry Editor of bluechrome, added:
“It was quite a shock. I was looking at the results of our latest poetry survey and was immediately appalled to see my own picture accompanied by amongst others, Adolph Hitler and Osama bin Laden - not what you’d expect on a Poetry page of a web site, and certainly not the type of company I’d normally keep!”

Delgrado continued,
“As the images displayed on our site were traceable back to an account held with a well known ISP, we have informed them of the Hacking incident and given them all the information we could, but we are yet to receive any response from the ISP, and today, hours after our site was attacked, the Hackers account still appears to be active.
Out of curiosity, we searched using google and ask jeeves for ‘kaled14’ – the email address that appeared on our hacked page, and were unnerved to find links to both other similarly hacked sites, but also to an on-line message board that seemed to contain what appeared to be coded messages. This only served to make the whole episode seem more mysterious”.
