GHOST HORSES exhibition at the bread & roses pub gallery, new work from emerging photographic artist

Added: (Sun Mar 17 2002)

GHOST HORSES is a new exhibition from the innovative photographic artist kate potter. After the success of her last show LOOKING AT THEM, LOOKING AT ME a poignant series of cat portraits held at the Islington Arts Factory, GHOST HORSES encapsulates a melancholic and shamanistic look at beauty captured in dark stables. Finger prints punctuate the organic and tactile nature of the images using liquid emulsion on the canvas, whilst low lit bulbs light up the images from within the frames, rendering the work a sensitive and moving experience to witness.
The exhibition will be taking place at the Bread & Roses Pub Gallery down Clapham Manor Street, Clapham from the 9th of April to the 21st of May.
