With 6 Tosses of 3 Coins...
"Construct six lines to make a key
that unlocks the door to you and me
and to the things that we can't see"
Please accept my 2001 Calendar which is based on The Book of Changes (I Ching) that
was initiated 3,000 years ago with major contributions made later by the Chinese Philosopher
Confucius. Its ideograms formed the basis of Chinese, Japanese, and mesoamerican Olmec
writing. It is the philosophical basis for Chinese Medicine, Asian Martial Arts, Feng Shui,
computers, Universal Product Code and 'Star Wars' movie. It quantifies your energy field
("CHI"), and helps you deal with any question you may have about your not-so-unique
situation with the use of coins and the construction of a "Universal Problem Code" which is
like the familiar "Universal Product Code" seen on all products.
Physicist Dr. Fritjof Capra states in his book 'The Tao of Physics': "The Chinese Book of
Changes 'I Ching' is unquestionably one of the world's most important books" . Biologist Dr.
Lyall Watson refers to the weird accuracy of the I Ching in his book 'SuperNature' saying:
"Consulting The Book of Changes amounts to almost a session with your favorite
psychoanalyst". Psychoanalyst Carl Jung seems seduced by it in his Introduction to the
Wilhem-Baynes 'I Ching' Edition.
INTEGRATED PROBLEM/CONFLICT MANAGEMENT:
Creative approaches may not always be practical and practical analyses may not creatively
factor-in the "Big Picture" or adequate intuitive brainstorming. Shaking three coins with both
hands as if they were dice may help engage both brain hemispheres in the resolution process.
Furthermore, the mathematical construct of the Universal Problem Code (UPC) may engage
mathematical reasoning in the resolution process and may also serve as a form of "writing
therapy".
My art/poetry endeavor should contribute "lateral" and or "rhythmic" dynamics to the
process so feel free to go to successfully download my 2001 I Ching Calendar/Almanac to
your printer if you follow my http://orion.ramapo.edu/~jmorales/instructions.
