Fake fur is back in fashion and Britney Spears and Victoria Beckham have both been seen sporting furry looking jackets in recent days.
Posh Spice, 32, was spotted in an imitation black fur jacket on Saturday as she arrived in Los Angeles, reports the Sun.
A spokesperson for Posh told the newspaper: "She wouldn't wear real fur."
Meanwhile, Britney Spears covered up with an imitation white Dolce & Gabbana (D&G) fur jacket while out in the city celebrating her birthday on the same night.
However, British model Kate Moss has upset animal rights campaigners by wearing real fur at a party in New York recently.
Heather Mills-McCartney, the estranged wife of the former Beatle, Paul, last month delivered a 250,000 strong petition to Brussels calling for an end to the trade of dog and cat fur in Europe.
