Capital Safety Announces Fall Protection Inventory Support For New Zealand

Added: (Wed Nov 11 2009)

Pressbox (Press Release) - Capital Safety, home of the world-renowned DBI-SALA and PROTECTA fall protection brands recently announced the establishment of a warehouse for improved inventory support for its New Zealand customer base. The warehouse will provide improved stock availability and delivery efficiencies for all major distributors and end users.

“New Zealand customers want access to the best fall protection products and they deserve to be able to get them quickly, arriving in premium condition” said Richard Drane, Operations Manager for Capital Safety, Australia and New Zealand. “We set about putting in place a warehouse management program to maximise this service performance and we think we have the balance right.”

Capital Safety will also be launching an enhancement to this service through the availability of the ‘Velocity Ship’ Program in New Zealand in early 2010. “Velocity Ship means place an order for any Velocity Ship product before 12 noon, and we will guarantee dispatch the same day, or the product will be delivered freight free,” explains Drane. “While there are a few terms and conditions around this delivery promise, the program has enabled the business to achieve a DIFOT (Delivered In-Full, On-Time) rate exceeding 97% in Australia for some time, with a similar or better performance expected for New Zealand.”

The warehouse function was officially opened on 2nd October.
