“Women are more prone to hemorrhoids(Piles) as compared to men and as per the study it has also been revealed that they are very shy to come and talk about it in open. Hence we decided to dedicate a day only for women, who can come to our camp and get there check up done for free by a women without any hesitation”, said , Milind Kamat, Director, Clintech India. “It has also been identified that most people who are suffering from hemorrhoids are not aware of the treatments available. Hence we will also be educating the patients and sharing details on the latest technology Ultroid Hemorrhoid Management system which can provide life long relief in just 30 minutes”, he further added

The study done by Surgeon Association has revealed that more than 88% of the population is prone to hemorrhoids. Dr. Sambit Patnaik, Consultant Surgeon at Clintech India shared, “We have observed that people find it rather embarrassing to visit a doctor to talk about this uncomfortable pain. In Mumbai only about 20 – 40% symptomatic hemorrhoid patients seek proper medical advice, the rest turn an ignorant eye. Piles as it is commonly known, affects many and we have a wonderful boon called technology to relieve the patients of this pain. The Ultroid Haemorrhoid Management System, which we use at Clintech India. The technology is US FDA approved equipment with a proven track record of over 40,000 procedures worldwide.”

There are many reasons why piles can occur; the primary reason is hereditary factors such as structural weakness of the vein, chronic constipation, anatomical factors and partial congestion amongst other reasons. Secondary causes are due underlying organic cause such as pregnancy, venous obstruction or congestion, carcinoma of the rectum and straining of micturation. Hypertension, particularly portal hypertension, can also cause hemorrhoids because of the connections between the portal vein and the vena cava which occur in the rectal wall— known as portocaval anastomoses. Obesity can be a factor by increasing rectal vein pressure. Poor muscle tone or poor posture can result in too much pressure on the rectal veins. Pregnancy may lead to hypertension and increase strain during bowel movements, so hemorrhoids are often associated with pregnancy. Cigarette smoking during bowel movements, may worsen hemorrhoid, may lead to severe internal bleeding of veins inside rectum area. Both can cause diarrhea. Caffeine ingestion increases blood pressure transiently, but is not thought to cause chronic hypertension. Alcohol can also cause alcoholic liver disease leading to portal hypertension.

‘Clintech India’ has the Ultroid Hemorrhoid Management System that shrinks the piles forever in just 30 minutes. This treatment results in to life time relief and is very cost effective (depending on the severity of the disease). The patient can walk out of the clinic immediately post the procedure; it does not require the patient to stay. The use of the machine enables the patient to recover instantly and be relieved with the discomforting and painful state within 30 – 45 minutes.

“It is important to address the stigma that is related to the disorder. People must understand that it is best to address the pain and discomfort than live with it. It requires minor changes in one’s lifestyle and a little courage to go up to a medical expert and discuss ones problem. This disorder is common amongst women and it is essential that they come forward and speak about it for us to help them. It has become imperative to bring about awareness with regards to the symptoms and the discomfort and pain associated with the disorder and inform them about this pain free treatment” explains Mr. Milind Kamat, Director, Clintech India
