Over the past four years Cultural Day has established itself as an event committed to playing a significant role in enhancing the pride in the African and African-Caribbean community in London. Its aim is to replace any misplaced perception of black culture, with positive examples of our magnificence. Cultural Day serves as a platform not only to showcase the splendour in black art, entertainment and fashion, but also for black businesses to promote their services to the wider community.

Guest speakers on the day include the London Fire Brigade, the Black Police Association and the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust.

Focussing primarily on Christianity, the numerous references and replicated stories from Egyptian culture are brought to the forefront. From the immaculate conception to the crucifixion, Jesus Found In Egipt gives a unique insight as to how these fundamental events within Christianity in fact occurred in Egypt thousands of years before the birth of Christ. Additional Marketing Information (in brief).
The All Eyes on Egypt Cultural Day Event is expected to generate a huge attendance. It is estimated that between 4,000-6,000+ people will attend throughout the day. This projection is based on e-mail/internet enquiries, advance ticket sales and gate receipts collected at last yearˇ¦s event. The many partnerships we have formed over the last five years since the events conception will gain us access to various databases one in particular containing 85,000 registrations. The event will be well publicised at various summer events i.e. The Notting Hill Carnival and others around England and other relevant exhibitions and shows of this nature.
The majority of visitors in attendance in 2002 were between the ages of 22-45 this age group accounted for roughly 70% based on our visitor census completed by 900 attendees all who felt events of this nature were needed and would attend again this year. So far we have contacted several African & Caribbean embassies for their support which we know will attract the nationals of these countries to attend.
