FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Barnes & Noble Community Relations Manager Kerry Ham has invited author Kristie Leigh Maguire to the Chico, California store to teach a two-hour writing workshop on Saturday, June 1st beginning at 3pm. The class will be divided into two parts:
1. “The Life of a Writer” - discussing writing tools, ideas, motivation and techniques
2. “Selling Your Book” – the business side of dealing with editors, agents, publishers and distributors.
After the workshop, Maguire will be signing copies of her book, “Emails from the Edge (The Life of an Expatriate Wife)”. The novel is based upon her real life experiences as an expatriate wife told through interesting and amusing email communications between herself and a friend while living overseas. It is an absorbing and entertaining read, and is sure to inspire budding authors. The book signing begins at 5pm.
Maguire received the Award for Outstanding Author from Book Review Café. In addition, Lisa at Book Review Café awarded the novel a 5 coffee cup review.
