America’s Power Colors and What They Mean

Pressbox (Press Release) -
The combination of Red, White and Blue offers a powerful message as to the intensity behind the home we call America, says Tori Hartman, color expert turned professional intuitive. It is doubtful that Betsy Ross consulted a color glossary when choosing the colors of the American Flag, yet her choices were uncanny at pinpointing the true message of America. Consider the meaning behind Red, White and Blue.
Red gives orders, it doesn’t take them. Red is in charge and the “Source” of all power. It is related to the first chakra and therefore rooted to the land or the physical.
White deflects and takes nothing personally and, ironically, while it can be seen as clean and pure it is also alone and isolated. Its seeming lack of care can make it appear aloof and superior when instead, it simply stands neutral and lacks the power of red.
And Blue - Navy Blue. Hartman calls navy the color of the creative conformist. This blue assists if one is too emotional or hasty in their communication as it tends to assist in calming things down. According to Hartman, Navy represents truth that has been well thought out before being communicated. It symbolizes trustworthiness and honesty. It conveys calm authority. There is no mistake that during the 1970’s and into the 1980’s the corporate “color” was navy.
How does it play out?
First - the rashness of Red, conveying strength and courage with white to keep a detached authority followed by Navy, the idea that united we stand in trust and truth.
These colors symbolize courage, authority and freedom, and began a journey of energy that America has carried since the day our first flag hung outside of George Washington’s headquarters on January 1, 1776. And, Hartman says, few countries use Blue, many use Green – the color of emotional satisfaction – (it lacks the stand that Blue will take) and the order of the colors will reveal quite a bit too. Take a moment to consider how other countries present themselves. This may reveal clues to the nations’ focus and their intention.
