Strathardle Asset Management is proud to sponsor its first annual lecture in aid of Cancer Research UK.
‘Almost Forgotten Treasures - Paintings, Poetry and Perthshire'
Speakers will include Olive Duncan, famed opera singer and public speaker, who has compiled a superb programme of events for the evening. She will lead the talk which will be illustrated with slides and music. Alisoun Grant, a renowned leader in the field of performing and creative arts, will also recite some poetry.
Venue: AK Bell Library Lecture Theatre, 2-8 York Place, Perth
Date: Thursday October 2, 2003
Time: 6pm for 6.30pm
Admission: £7.50, all proceeds will go to Cancer Research UK.
Leading with a light hearted discussion which will reveal some hidden gems and lesser known facts about historic people and places in Perthshire, the evening evolves to take in comments and opinions on paintings from Russia, Scotland, America, Japan, France. The event will be accompanied by music and poetry from around the world.
