It's been some time since House Music has been a Mainstream Category with Mainstream Radio Airplay. But that could all change in 2005. Already Kelly Osbourne has brought some Mainstream star power to the genre with the release of her House Music CD "Sleeping in the Nothing" and her #1 Hit "One Word".
Not only has Osbourne released a straight ahead Dance/House Music CD, but she's also recruited top Songwriter Linda Perry to bring some much needed A List talent to the genre. Perry has already worked her magic on CDs by Lisa Marie Presley, Pink, and Christina Aguilera to name a few.
And the Media Attention on the House Music genre can only get more heated when Entertainment News Magnet Paris Hilton releases her new House/Dance Music CD in the Fall. Her Single "Screwed" is already getting action on DJ setlists.
If Osbourne and Hilton succeed in turning on younger CD buyers to House Music, the genre could yet see another day as a Mainstream Category.
