Pressbox (Press Release) - Story of Irrfan Khan by his friend and senior Film Journalist Ajay Brahmatmaj
Irrfan not only wrote a letter to film journalist Ajay Brahmatmaj but also sent messages to him during his illness. Ajay Brahmatmaj shared two old photos of Irrfan Khan on Twitter and also shared an anecdote related to them.

Bollywood Actor Irrfan Khan
So far in my journey I was walking at a fast pace. I had my plans, aspirations, dreams and goals with me. I was getting absorbed in that suddenly TC tapped on the back, “Your station is coming, please get down.”

And I did not understand, “Naa na, my station has not arrived yet.”

The answer was, “You have to get off at any of the next stops. Your destination has arrived. “
Irrfan said this in a letter to senior film journalist Ajay Brahmatmaj, when he came to know about his fucking illness, which is called cancer. On 29 April, Irrfan Khan finally got off the train. His station arrived. Train of life and station of death. It is cumbersome but it is like that. All clear and philosophical talks have been said about death, but regret that all are true in a very cruel way. I like a dialogue about the movie Bicycle Thieves about death,

Irrfan said, “Everything can be solved. Except death. ” Irrfan Khan says one place in the letter above, “I am in pain.”
Irrfan adds,
“For the first time I realized the word ‘Azadi’, in the true sense! Realize an achievement… My belief in doing this work became completely true. After that I felt that that belief penetrated every cell of mine. Only time will tell whether he stays or not! That’s what I’m feeling right now. “

Irrfan Khan was in pain. He realized independence. And they became free. Sanjay Mishra said, he left one of the windows in Irrfan Hospital. Silently.

Irrfan started his career in 1988 with a very small role in Salaam Bombay. Earlier, he did many TV serials, including Chanakya, Bharat Ek Khoj, Chandrakanta, Sara Jahan Hamara.

‘I would think habitually, what would have happened if but let go …’
The Lallantop spoke to Ajay Brahmatmaj to whom Irrfan wrote the letter. Irrfan Khan shared a lot with him apart from the letter. All stories, stories and personal thoughts. Ajay Brahmatmaj has seen Irrfan ever since he went to ‘Bombay’ from the National School of Drama (NSD). There are talks on his films, which will continue to happen but Ajay Brahmatmaj introduced us to Irrfan who had a storm in his mind. He moved closer to Irrfan’s political-social vision and life-philosophy.

A father concerned for children, a man obsessed with achievements, a person who had a big role to play in his wife, a man who departed from the world for unfulfilled desires. These are the things which are kept in the category of ‘personal’.

Ajay Brahmatmaj says,
This is a personal loss for me. I moved to China after passout from JNU. When he returned to Bombay from China, he met Irrfan. He used to stay in a room in DN Nagar. There was a kitchen in it. Common was the bathroom. I have seen Irrfan from there. I was associated with ‘Chanakya’ serial. Chanakya was his second serial. After ‘India is a discovery’. Then we met on the set. I always contacted him. During his time he was also critical of Irrfan.
‘Irrfan joins film journalism’

‘What I remember about Irrfan and very few people know that Irrfan Khan connected me with film journalism. I used to do political reporting. The BJP was as strong as today. Then an editor refused to print my article. Obviously, there was a problem of work. Then Irrfan asked me to do film journalism. I was a bit uncomfortable. Then Irrfan said that let’s be good people. It was then that he decided my first interview.

The film’s vision with Dimple Kapadia
Ajay Brahmatmaj says,
Not always, but whenever we met we used to talk about films, about these general societies, about literature. I also used to go. They also used to come. They were not so famous then. Despite his many achievements, he was uninterested, with achievements. Kismet did not believe in anything and coincidence.

Little is known about one of his films. He had done Govind Nihalani’s film ‘Darshan’ with Dimple Kapadia and Shekhar Kapoor. The film ‘Death of a Doctor’ had just arrived. Tapan was doing Sinha’s films but was not satisfied with it.

“When Mahesh Bhatt asked him to do bad acting.”
Ajay tells some interesting things about Irrfan. They say

Irrfan Khan made his way into his style in his own terms. Irrfan did not copy anyone. We met when he was doing Mahesh Bhatt’s film Gunah. Then Mahesh Bhatt told him that bad acting has to be done here because he was working very hard even in the current shot.
