Jordan writer’s message of acceptance

Added: (Fri Sep 27 2019)

Pressbox (Press Release) - A communications consultant from Jordan is bringing his universal message of acceptance and self-improvement to the English-speaking world.
Maher Salameh has just published the translated version of her highly successful guide, Charisma Code.
The in-depth study to harmonious relationships in a cross-culture society has been hugely influential in the Middle East.
Moreover, the Jordanian prime minister, Dr Omar Razaz, among many intellectual celebrities, shared his impressions "printed in the book" of Maher’s latest publication.
Influenced by his time spent in both the UK and USA, Maher’s Charisma Code is a timely reminder for readers to accept people of different nationalities and religions as part of their development.
The 62-year-old father of two from Jordan-Amman City said: “Charisma Code tackles both personal development and personal empowerment through productive relationships.
“As well as looking at accepting otherness, Charisma Code also concentrates on the relationships between the employee and the boss, the son/daughter and parents, the husband and wife, and even relationships between friends.
“But this isn’t simply a passive guide, in Charisma Code there are quizzes and reflective questions to give readers the chance to really grapple with important ideas about personal, civil, and career development.”
Charisma Code took four years of painstaking research as well as a further three years to write.
As well as providing philosophical and practical advice towards self-improvement, Maher introduces each section with relative movies to offer examples of his theories in practice.
Readers are advised to watch each well-known big-screen film as part of each chapter.
Influenced by the great Arab poet, Mahmoud Darweesh, Maher hopes his latest book will also have an ever-lasting impact on readers.
He added: “The over-riding message of Charisma Code is that the individual is not alone in this world, and he or she needs to cooperate with others to succeed.
“This path to development, as explained in the book, is through soft and daily practical philosophical knowledge and intelligent effort.
“Charisma Code sets out a series of ideas and exercises which can make this possible for every reader.”
Maher has written three well-received books in his native Jordan.
A second publication is being translated into English and due for release later this year.
