Every year dating back to when the company started in 2003, the most popular service has been to have your videotapes transferred to DVD. Fast forward to today and the new ways people can enjoy their videos, we have been receiving more and more requests to transfer your old home videos directly onto a flash drive, hard drive, or even the cloud rather than DVDs.
Each of them has its advantages and it's really a personal preference for how the customer wants to view their family recordings. I would like to discuss with you a few things that may be beneficial to you before transferring your memories here at Duplication Media.
We want to find out what is the best service for you. We can transfer your videotapes to DVD, digital file, the cloud, or all three! While we offer a variety of services, we want to highlight these specific ones to give you a more in-depth description of why it may be the best option for you.
Video to DVD Transfer
When videos are transferred to DVD you will receive physical copies that are playable in DVD players, Blu-ray players, and computers. DVDs also make great gifts to give on birthdays, holidays, and special occasions so customers often order extra copies to give to family members.
Video to Digital File (Flash Drive or Hard Drive)
Some newer computers don't have a DVD drive so customers want their videos transferred to digital files and put on a flash drive (USB drive) or hard drive. You can then copy and paste the files into your computer which makes it easy to share and/or edit. The biggest benefit that you get when you have your videos transferred directly to a USB flash drive is the accessibility that it gives you and your loved ones.
Video to Cloud Storage
If you want to share your videos with people from anywhere in the world, you can have your videotapes uploaded to the cloud, send them a link and they can access it whenever and wherever they want.
Already transferred to DVD?
For our returning customers that we have already transferred your videos to DVD, we will put them onto a flash drive for you for a low flat-rate of $10. We value our returning customers and want you to have a meaningful experience so that we can preserve your memories for years to come.
