Kent Great Gran writer goes fourth with new book

Added: (Fri Jun 21 2019)

Pressbox (Press Release) - A great-grandmother from Kent has found a new lease of life – as a romantic novelist.
Widower Sophia Addams has just published her fourth highly-praised novel at the age of 78.
The former secretary and market researcher, who wed at Gretna Green in 1957, believes you can never be too old for some heart-warming romance.
Her new novel, The Enabler: Martin's Story, has earned rave reviews from captivated readers since its recent publication.
Sophia said: “The Enabler: Martin's Story tells how Martin is overcoming the death of his wife and child, and Em is overcoming the feeling that no man would ever look at her twice.
“My favourite type of books have always been romance.
“My latest book shows that love can happen when you least expect it - Martin is a quiet loner in what is sometimes a very violent profession and that is the way he intends to stay.
“Em has a small baby but no partner - the last one left after savagely beating her and trashing her home.”
Sophia has enjoyed writing since her late teenage years.
But the mum of three, granny of six and great-grandmother of one only found the time to start completing full-sized novels in later life.
She now spends most of her afternoons in front of the laptop creating inspiring characters and breath-taking romances on the page.
The Enabler: Martin's Story is yet another gripping slice of fiction where Sophia’s ability for bringing characters to life is yet again evident.
She added: “Martin Loveday is a private detective, ex-forces, and ex-special ops.
“A loner and, after the death of his wife and unborn daughter in, what he considers, suspicious circumstances, he has sworn that he will never get entangled with another woman.
“One night stands only… until he meets Emily Denning.
“Then someone from Em’s past shows up and every protective instinct that Martin has surges to the fore.”
The protagonists in The Enabler: Martin's Story have already featured in Sophia’s earlier novels.
But her latest page-turner can be read as a stand-alone adventure.
Like Sophia’s previous books, The Enabler: Martin's Story has been greeted with praise from delighted readers.
Her latest novel is described as ‘a good read’ by reviewers.
