Creative Multimedia celebrates International Animation Day

Creative Multimedia, ‘India’s Largest Digital Media Academy’ and winner of the Best Digital Media Academy in India Award celebrated ‘International Animation Day’ on Sunday, the 28th of October, 2018 at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad, Telangana. Leading lights of the Animation, VFX and Gaming industries graced the event to inspire students, share their insights, and present the coveted Pixellence awards to outstanding digital media talent.
Creative Multimedia has been passionately celebrating International Animation Day every year for the past 15 years with the aim of helping to proliferate the craft and driving growth of the Animation sector in India. This landmark event has been attracting luminaries of the Digital Media Industry who have been passionately patronizing the initiative with a deep endeavour to inspire and enlighten the future game changers of the Animation industry. The event aims to bring Creative Multimedia students closer to the industry and to honour and encourage outstanding talent in Animation, VFX, Gaming, Web & Graphic Design.
The CEO & MD of Creative Multimedia Services, Raja Sekhar Buggaveeti delivered the inaugural address and renewed his commitment to ‘Enhancing Employability’. Addressing the students, he reminded them that Creative Multimedia affords the finest infrastructure, mentoring, value-additions and placements in the industry and urged them to take advantage of these privileges to pursue a successful career and bring laurels to the academy and the country.
This years’ International Animation Day Celebrations at Hyderabad had a star-studded invitee list comprising Suresh Eriyat-Founder of Studio Eeksaurus and the man behind the iconic Amaron Batteries Clay Animation Commercial, Peter Draper – Co-founder of Makuta, the studio behind the CGI-heavy blockbuster ‘Bahubali, and Rajat Ojha, Founder of Gamitronics. Rajiv Chilaka- CEO of Green Gold Animation couldn’t make it to the event but he greeted the students through a pre-recorded video and offered his best wishes to Creative Multimedia.
