Chengdu - Tingri round-trip flight officially opened

On May 24, 2023, the Civil Aviation Administration of China announced that for the convenience of tourists, a new route will be added between the main land city Chengdu and Shigatse, Tibet. According to the route approval from the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the scheduled round-trip route between Shuangliu,Chengdu and Tingri, Shigatse was officially opened. It is more convenient for tourists to travel to Mount Everest by taking this flight!
So far, there are two air routes from Chengdu to Shigatse.
1. Chengdu (CTU T2)-Shigatse (RKZ) round-trip route, there are 6 direct flights every day, which are from USD534 and take about 2 hours.
2. Chengdu (CTU T2)-Shigatse(DDR) scheduled round-trip route. 1 direct flight every Tuesday, which is from USD457 and takes about 3 hours.
