Pressbox (Press Release) - A retired piano technician from Switzerland believes he has found the perfect key for living, and he’s sharing it in his recently published memoirs.
Edward Wootton hopes The Train to Hell will provide the antidote for everyone who fears the approach of death.
The 71-year-old grandfather has built up a relationship with God over the decades.
And he’s convinced that anyone who is willing to follow in his footsteps will reap the same rewards.
Edward explained: “In The Train to Hell I explain to readers the answer I have found to the most difficult of all questions - How do I break the bonds of death?
“The price of the ticket for this train to a new future is surprisingly easy to obtain.
“We are born, then we die, and that sums up everyone.
“The length of our life is frighteningly quick as pertaining to eternity.
“Death waits round the corner, uncompromising.
“This book is about death, an evil which is so profound that it reaches into the depths of hell itself.
“Yet there is an answer to death, that most terrible of evils, the answer is God.”
British-born Edward lives just outside Geneva.
Having worked with some of the biggest names in music, including Dame Vera Lynne, Oscar Peterson and Cliff Richards, as well as the world’s leading classical orchestras, he has enjoyed a varied and fulfilled life.
But the father-of-two has also used his years to get to know God.
Shying away from Christianity and other world religions, he has made the relationship personal.
As explained in The Train to Hell, he believes God is also there for anyone willing to take the time to get to know Him.
Edward added: “I have to stress very forcibly, though, that my book is not about or against religion, it is about God.
“Lift the veil to see the world with a clear new vision, the world of wonderful abundant life and the world of death.
“Then dare to go beyond the dark veil of death, to the incredible exciting future we are all entitled to have.
“The Train to Hell is the true story of my walk in this life, then the reality of the life beyond this life.
“I urge everyone to get on the train for a one-way ticket which will be the destination of your choice.”
Away from writing, Edward has a passion for reading with Christian writers George MacDonald and Charles Henry MacIntosh among his favourite authors.
