Gala Concert for Young Musicians in Allington Castle, Maidstone
at 7pm on Friday 17 March 2023
Join professional and young musicians at Allington Castle, for an evening of music, drinks and canapés to support Kent and Medway Young Musicians Trust. By buying a ticket, participating in the auctions, or if you can’t join us, donating or becoming a Friend of the Trust you’ll help young people in Kent and Medway get financial support to develop their musical education.
The Gala Concert will be held at 7:00pm on Friday 17 March 2023 in the Great Hall at Allington Castle, Maidstone, ME16 ONB. It features Royal Opera House mezzo-soprano Rachael Lloyd and Robin Ashwell, violist for the Sacconi Quartet, as well as The Maidstone Singers and some of the Trust's numerous awardees.
Tickets are £45 and are available from the Trust's website at https://www.kamymtrust.org/gala-concert-tickets. In addition to the concert, the evening will include drinks and canapes, an opportunity to network with other supporters of the Trust, and a silent auction of prizes donated by some of Kent's finest establishments.
The use of Allington Castle is by the kind permission of Sir Robert Worcester and the concert will be hosted by the Trust’s Patron, The Lady Colgrain, Lord-Lieutenant of Kent, and Nancy Litten, Chair of the Trust. Established in 2004, the Kent and Medway Young Musicians Trust is a registered charity dedicated to helping young people up to the age of 25 with the costs of their musical training, instruments, and courses.
