Pressbox (Press Release) - How employees communicate, how businesses assist their customers, and ultimately how they do business are all being transformed by the digital workplace. A company's workplace transformation is a deliberate move, not just a campaign (or cost-cutting exercise) to commoditize services and support. A business that can create a digital workplace will realize significant commercial benefits with far-reaching implications. That is why Group Futurista, a leading global events company, found a need to host the "Future of Digital Workplace" event for helping people gain insight into this new evolving topic. This virtual event took place on 27th January 2022. The event focused on industries like financial services, Insurance, Banking, IT, Automobile, Manufacturing, Software, etc.

Zach Dunn, Co-founder & VP of Customer Experience, Robin Powered Inc concerned about rediscovering collaboration in the office. He says that a workplace is a place bigger than an office. Till now, many people use office and workplace interchangeably. He added that an office is a part of the workplace and not a workplace.

Walter Prior, Business Development head at Nokia says How AI and Automation are forever changing the workplace ecosystem? He mentions Artificial intelligence fundamentals are mostly unchanged from the last 40 years. He said that a frictionless work environment translates into happier customers and better business.

Yarrow Diamond, SVP, Innovation, and Technology, CNB Bank voiced about Enabling Rapid Change and Adaptability through Flexible Workforce Solutions and Enterprise Tech Stack. She adds that a roadmap helped in how they were going to get back a successful model of continued strategic operations and how one can be successful in the upcoming future. Companies should build a work from anywhere program that flexes, grows, and supports rather than restricts or governs.

Evangelos Vayias, Digital Transformation Leader for Businesses & Internal Digitalization at Eurobank, Greece discussed Digitalizing the Workplace to drive culture change and activation of the corporate purpose. He cited that the shift to hybrid work requires a holistic rethinking of the workplace. This requires flexible work options, inclusive space design, and innovative technology solutions. He adds to this that hybrid work is the biggest opportunity to reshape culture.

Jon Cairns, Senior Vice President, Technical Services, Nexthink talked about Employee centric IT. He says that the digital workplace has changed permanently. He also discussed challenges that keep the IT teams from delivering high-quality service to employees. The challenges are accelerated digital transformation, increased employee expectations, working from anywhere with new requirements, and decentralization of IT.

Mitchell Hershkowitz, Digital Workplace Practice Director, Computacenter US talks about workplaces of the future. He mentions that the business priorities need to evolve. The future workplace is driven by automation and powered by intelligence, allowing businesses to focus on delivering the moments that matter for their people and customers.

The event was concluded by a panel discussion on the topic "Future of Digital Workplace in 2022 & trends that we can't afford to miss". The discussion included Mitchell Hershkowitz, Walter Prior, Evangelos Vayias, Mel Shawley, Jon Cairns, and Lucy Shih. Later, the host ended the event by giving thanks to all the speakers, attendees, and sponsors.
