Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is a premier private educational institute having its various campuses in three states in India i.e. Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka. The institute was established in the year 1994 by the Mata Amritanandamayi Devi. The founder is commonly known as Amma and is one of the renowned humanitarian leaders in the world. The institute has in total six campus with 15 constituent schools. The institute offers in total 293 undergraduate, post graduate, integrated degree, dual degree, certificate and doctoral course in various fields. The institute is University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi approved institute, and it is also one of the youngest institute to receive the status of “Deemed to be University” by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi in 2003.
The University is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), New Delhi with ‘A’ grade and also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). It is the first university in India teaching hospital to get National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare (NABH) accreditation. The National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) has also accredited all the laboratories of the university. International Organisation for Standardization (ISO) has accredited the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s health science campus with ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 180011: 2007.
In the year 2016, the university was awarded the Healthcare Excellence Awards from the FICCI for patient safety & Medical Innovation. Amrita University has been awarded by the British Medical Journal Award in the year 2014, 2015 and 2016.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Admission
The Detailed admission procedure for stated below:
Stage 1. Online Apply:- The candidate needs to register on the official website of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for registration. On the website, click on “apply now” in the admission section of the interests course. To visit the official website of the college, click here. You are required to enter your valid email address and active mobile number. Following which you will receive an OTP for verification and email consisting of password for further procedures. Already registered users can click on the “login” tab and enter the email address and password.
Stage 2. Sign in:- After receiving the password login through your email address and password received from University.
Note: – All future communications will be sent to this registered email address, and hence verification of email address is mandatory.
Stage 3. Fill application form:- The candidate needs to fill the application form with all correct details. Make sure not to leave any section blank. After successfully filling the application form, your unique application number will be sent, which needs to be preserved for further correspondence.
Stage 4. Payment:-Next step is the payment of application fee through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card or Paytm.
Stage 5. Photo and Signature Upload:- After payment, softcopy of your photo and signature should be uploaded.
Scanned files (.jpg format) of your photo (3.5 cm width x 4.5 cm height; 10-200 kB size) and signature (3.5 cm width x 1.5 cm height; 10-200 kB size)
Stage 6. Download filled-in application form:- Download and save the filled-in application for your reference and further correspondence.
Applicants NEED NOT SEND a hard copy of the filled-in Application Form to the University.

Stage 8. Counselling/ Selection:-
Candidates are short-listed for Personal Interview (PI), based on their academic and test score and will be informed about the PI date by email and SMS. (Candidate who is not shortlisted will not get any communication)
During the PI, candidates will be evaluated on their written and verbal communication skills, subject and general knowledge and overall personality.
The offer letter will be sent to the short-listed candidates by email and SMS.
Selected candidates need to make the payment online on or before the deadline.
Stage 9: Selected candidates will be provided with the admission confirmation letter and Demand letter containing details of the fees to be submitted and specified mode of payment.
Stage 10: The selected candidates who have received confirmation letter have two options with them, either to pay the fees as specified and accept admission in the university or to exit, in that case, the seat goes to the next person in the waiting list and the candidate’s application fees will be forfeited. The candidates will receive some amount of the fees paid after deduction of the counselling fees
