IIM Kozhikode has Introduced Four new Certificate programms
The Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K) will be offering four new certificate programms in collaboration with the edu-tech platform Coursera in the fields of marketing, business, strategy, and product management.
Indian Institute of Management – Kozhikode, Director, Debashis Chatterjee, said, “As the field of education transforms dramatically in a post-pandemic world, the partnership will provide great value to our domestic and global audiences. Together, we will introduce learners to new and refreshing perspectives as we pursue our motto of globalizing Indian thought and nurturing value-driven, fair-minded individuals.”
The four new certificate programms that are introduced by The Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K) are:-
Business Management: This program will help in preparing future executives, leaders, and entrepreneurs, this program will teach the frameworks, strategies, and tools needed to strategically drive the business forward amid the digital transformation.
Strategic Management: This program will help working professionals to transform into results-driven leaders by teaching them growth strategies, data-driven decision-making, and proven leadership tactics.
Marketing Strategy: this program is mainly designed for the marketers looking forward to advance leadership position and also provides a broad snapshot of marketing, focusing on how to use data mining, AI, and automation to better understand and reach customers.
Product Management: for this program you don’t need any technical background. This program will help you in hard and soft skills needed to excel as a product manager, from market research and prototyping to project management and product development.
Each certificate program is designed as a 6-8 months long graduate-level offering, which will contain interactive learning, including synchronous and asynchronous sessions with IIM Kozhikode faculty and advanced learning tools backed by technology and program support from Coursera.
Coursera Chief Content officer Betty Vandenbosch said, “Indian institutions are seeing demand from across the globe. It’s not about Indians teaching just Indians anymore…These are new certificate courses created to meet specific needs of online education.”
Three out of four certificate programms that are offered are open to anyone. Only Business Management program will be required some subject knowledge to take admission.
Coursera the edu-tech platform has also tied up with six more Indian educational institutes, which includes IIM Calcutta, OP Jindal Global University and IIT Roorkee to offer admission in online certifications and degree programs. Apart from India, Coursera has been seeing traction from students in the US, UAE, Singapore, Bangladesh, Canada.
