At Illinois Tech 100% of staff and students are fully vaccinated.
For international students, the vaccine is easy – it’s free and is available at numerous places, including community centers, walk-in clinics, and pharmacies like Walgreen’s and CVS.
In Chicago, nearly 50% of the population are fully vaccinated and 70% have had their first dose. In Massachusetts, 54% of the population is fully vaccinated.
If you are planning to come to campus in the Fall, as an international student there is no requirement for you to show proof of vaccine. If you are vaccinated, the university has said that they will accept all vaccines accepted by WHO.
You can get vaccinated once you arrive. You will be required to show a negative PCR test before you fly. If you have been vaccinated, you may not need to quarantine upon arrival. Please check with Intelligent Partners Counselors for further information.
