- New research: 5G flaws allow criminals to steal data, cut access to the web
- Framingham, MA (December 16, 2020): Positive Technologies has published its “5G standalone core security assessment”. The report discusses vulnerabilities and threats for subscribers and mobile network operators, which stem from the use of new standalone 5G network cores. The vulnerabilities in protocols HTTP/2 and PFCP, used by standalone 5G networks, include the theft of subscriber profile data, impersonation attacks and faking subscriber authentication.
Mobile operators are currently running non-standalone 5G networks, which are based on previous-generation 4G LTE infrastructure. These non-standalone 5G networks are at risk of attack because of long-standing vulnerabilities in the Diameter and GTP protocols, which were reported on by Positive Technologies earlier this year. Operators are gradually migrating to standalone infrastructure, but this also has security considerations of its own. Gartner expects 5G investment to exceed LTE/4G in 2022 and that communications service providers will gradually add standalone capabilities to their non-standalone 5G networks.
The stack of technologies in 5G potentially leaves the door open to attacks on subscribers and the operator's network. Such attacks can be performed from the international roaming network, the operator's network, or partner networks that provide access to services.
For example, the Packet Forwarding Control Protocol (PFCP) that is used to make subscriber connections has several potential vulnerabilities such as denial of service, cutting subscriber access to the internet and redirecting traffic to an attacker, allowing them to downlink the data of a subscriber. Correct configuration of the architecture as highlighted in Positive Technologies GTP protocol research can stop these types of attacks.
The HTTP/2 protocol, which is responsible for vital network functions (NFs) that register and store profiles on 5G networks, also contains several vulnerabilities. Using these vulnerabilities, attackers could obtain the NF profile and impersonate any network service using details such as authentication status, current location, and subscriber settings for network access. Attackers can also delete NF profiles potentially causing financial losses and damaging subscriber trust.
In these cases, subscribers will be unable to take action against threats that lurk on the network, so operators need to have sufficient visibility to safeguard against these attacks.
Dmitry Kurbatov, CTO at Positive Technologies commented: “There is a risk that attackers will take advantage of standalone 5G networks while they are being established and operators are getting to grips with potential vulnerabilities. Therefore, security considerations must be addressed by operators from the offset. Subscriber attacks can be both financially and reputationally damaging - especially when vendors are in high competition to launch their 5G networks. With such a diverse surface of attack, robust core network security architecture is by far the safest way to protect users.
“5G standalone network security issues will be much further reaching when it comes to CNI, IoT and connected cities - putting critical infrastructure such as hospitals, transport and utilities at risk. In order to achieve full visibility over traffic and messaging, operators need to perform regular security audits to detect errors in the configuration of network core components to protect themselves and their subscribers”

- Difference Between GI Steel Pipe And MS Pipe
- Galvanized iron is iron that has been coated in a layer of zinc. The zinc layer is coated to help the metal resist corrosion. Steel can also be galvanized. When steel is used in an environment where corrosion and rust are easy to happen, we often put the steel galvanized. So the steel will have a longer service life than that not be galvanized. However, even with galvanization, corrosion will eventually start to occur, especially if conditions are acidic.
There are two primary galvanized techniques. The most common is hot-dip galvanization, in which the steel is moved through an extremely hot bath of molten zinc, which may be mixed with small amounts of lead, depending on the circumstances. When the steel emerges from the bath, the zinc will have bonded, creating a layer of zinc on the surface of the steel. Sometimes, the metal may be passed through a mill to flatten and even out the coating. Another technique is electrodeposition, also known as pre-galvanizing, it has been outdated due to its pollution. Once galvanized, iron is covered in a layer of zinc which may be shiny to a dull gray. The zinc can be painted, if desired, or left plain. Painting is often done when the iron must match other building materials, or when people want to make it less obvious. In the garden, for example, it may be painted green so that it will blend in with foliage instead of standing out.
As long as the zinc coating remains intact, the galvanized steel pipe should remain in relatively good condition. However, acidic conditions can erode the zinc over time, creating patches where corrosion can occur. Corrosion can also occur when the coating is penetrated, as when someone drives a nail through a sheet of galvanized iron, exposing the iron inside to the elements. Once corrosion starts, it can spread under the zinc, eventually causing the metal to fail. There is a wide range of uses for this type of iron, which comes in pipes, stakes, sheeting, and wire, among other formats. Many hardware and home supplies carry galvanized iron products and may be willing to cut pieces to custom sizes by request. People can also be referred to professionals who will weld or cut galvanized iron to meet the needs of a particular project.
Unlike high-carbon steel, mild steel is easily welded. The properties of the steel allow the electrical current to travel through the metal without distorting the makeup of the material. Some types of high-carbon steel, such as stainless steel, require special techniques in order to properly weld. the material. Being less brittle than high-carbon steels, the mild variant is able to flex and give in construction projects where a higher-carbon version could simply break.

Laser engraving, which is a subset of laser marking. It is the practice of using lasers to engrave an object. In this project, we are going to learn how to use mini laser engraving machine. On the other hand Laser marking is a broader category of methods to leave marks on an object, which also includes color change due to chemical/molecular alteration, charring, foaming, melting, ablation, and more. The technique does not involve the use of inks, nor does it involve tool bits which contact the engraving surface and wear out. It giving an advantage over alternative engraving or marking technologies where inks or bit heads have to be replaced regularly.
Because of the technology improvement now a day we don’t need a bigger machine. For laser engraving, we have a mini laser engraving machine capable of doing the same process. That kind machine we are using either you can build a DIY machine or you can but CNC Laser Engraver from online that are cheap and best are available I attaching the link to the machine where I have bought my machine. The machine I am using was Saint Smart CNC Laser Engrave.
In this machine, we are using 5W laser engraver this laser engraver cable of work in most of the material we are using in day to day life. You can use this machine to engrave Wood, acrylic, plastic, balsa wood, etc.. if you want to engrave in metal it is difficult but you can paint in the metal and engrave it.

After it is completed take out the work piece

EnSuite-Cloud ReVue uses secure peer-to-peer connections between participants in the collaboration session. Hosts and reviewers do not have to store their proprietary data (CAD parts and assemblies) in a cloud server.
