- Training Provider Delivers CITB Course Remotely For First Time
- Nationwide health and safety training provider 3B Training Ltd has become the first provider to deliver the CITB Health & Safety Awareness course remotely.
Today 3B Training made history by delivering the CITB Health and Safety Awareness (HSA) course remotely for the very first time.
The course, which is famed for helping delegates work towards obtaining a CSCS green card, is traditionally delivered in a classroom, however, due to COVID-19 face-to-face training has been suspended by the majority of training providers across the UK.
Last week CITB announced temporary measures to allow training providers to deliver the HSA course remotely. This course has historically always been delivered in a classroom so the recent announcement is a big change for both the training and construction industries. 3B Training relished the opportunity and scheduled multiple dates for delegates to attend starting from 31st March 2020.
3B Training’s remote delivery allows delegates to connect to a video call where the training course is led by a CITB tutor. The tutor is able to use a presentation via screen share and can still engage with the delegates and answer their questions throughout the course. All course materials are also available digitally and exams are delivered via video call.

Referring LPU as world-class university, Director Dr Nandini Sahu informed students, in her inaugural remarks, about her literary journey and various creation thereupon. She also talked about her introducing innovative and well accepted ‘Indian Folk Literature’ as a Diploma Course at IGNOU. She advised students to be always in touch with their teachers for innovations and research works while undertaking inter disciplinary assignments. A major voice in contemporary Indian English poetry, Dr Sahu also talked about more talked about long poem ‘Sita’, and advised students to ‘be inter-disciplinary and be good research publisher. An international scientific, research and practical conference was held in Samarkand on the initiative of the Silk Road International Tourism University (SRITU), Uzbekistan. During this conference, a globally significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between SRITU of Uzbekistan and Lovely Professional University (LPU) of India. MoU will contribute to the further development of promising cooperation not only in education but also in the tourism sector. The Scope of collaboration on academic and research activities in this MoU includes joint research projects, students and faculty exchange programmes; organization/ participation in Joint conferences, workshops and more. On behalf of the Uzbek University, Vice Rector Turaev Bakhodir signed the MoU for mutual consensus.
Head of the Division of International Affairs at LPU, Mr Aman Mittal shares that the MoU is going to benefit students and staff members of both the universities and the people of the two countries in numerous ways. PATNA WOMEN’S COLLEGE is the first educational institution of higher learning opened to endow higher education to the women in Bihar. Bishop Sullivan, the founder, named it Patna Women’s College and presented it as a gift to the Women of Bihar. The college was granted the status of Degree College in July 1941. The site for the college building was offered to the then Principal, Mother Theodosia by the Governor of Bihar Lord Rutherford in 1945.
In the year 1952, a Special Status was given by the Government of Bihar and it became a ‘Constituent College’ of Patna University.

- Patna Women’s College Celebrating Vigyan Utsav 2020, International Science Day
- The Ministry of HRD and Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India is celebrating National Science Day as Vigyan Utsav 2020 on 27th and 28th February 2020. The 2-day Science festival is organised by Patna Women’s College.
Celebrated on 28th February every year, National Science Day has a major significance in India. Educational Intuitions celebrate this day to commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by Prof C V Raman in 1928. This year for the very first time under the Aegis of Star College Scheme introduced by the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology is organising a brainstorming event for the students of Bihar. Vigyan Utsav 2020 is a 2-day science festival for the students who have a quest to attain new heights with the help of science & technology.
PATNA WOMEN’S COLLEGE is the first educational institution of higher learning opened to endow higher education to the women in Bihar. Bishop Sullivan, the founder, named it Patna Women’s College and presented it as a gift to the Women of Bihar. The college was granted the status of Degree College in July 1941. The site for the college building was offered to the then Principal, Mother Theodosia by the Governor of Bihar Lord Rutherford in 1945.
In the year 1952, a Special Status was given by the Government of Bihar and it became a ‘Constituent College’ of Patna University.
The entire staffs, faculty members and the students of Patna Women’s College feel extreme honour to organise the ‘Vigyan Utsav’. This event will enhance the knowledge of all the participants and this will add a feather in their cap.
