- ONE Q2 net profit up 31% at $5.5bn
- Ocean Network Express (ONE) reported a 31 percent increase in net profit at $5.5 billion for Q2FY2022 and 24 percent increase in revenue to $9.4 billion on higher average freight rates and lower (9 percent) liftings at 2.9 million TEUs. "The lifting on Asia-North America E/B remain unchanged from Q1 FY2022 but decreased in comparison to the same period of last year. Vessel utilisation decreased due to higher service frequencies following a reduction in port congestion on the U.S. West Coast. Both lifting and vessel utilisation on Asia-Europe W/B remain unchanged from Q1 FY2022 but decreased in comparison to the same period of the previous year."
While revenue increased 38 percent for H12022 to $18.4 billion, profit was up 63 percent to $11 billion, says an official release. While ships' costs increased, bunker consumption decreased due to a reduction in the number of operating vessels and continued port congestion resulting in a similar expenditure level as the same period last year, the release added. "Global cargo demand is declining. The usual increase in cargo demand prior to Chinese National day did not occur this year. Asia-North America market volume in 2nd quarter declined by 5% year-on-year due to a shift from goods to services consumption as a result of the relaxation of border control in many countries, the build-up of inventories of consumer goods, and a decline in consumer confidence due to rising global inflation. Sun King Rising’s second album, Signs & Wonders, is to be released on October 1st on CD, vinyl, and top download and streaming sites. Sun King Rising is the professional moniker of singer/songwriter/piano player John Blangero who hails from Port Isabel, Texas.
He calls his music “the new wave of southern rock and soul music.”
PeacockSunrise Records is the Americana/Rock label spinoff of Nick Katona’s successful Progressive Rock label, Melodic Revolution. As with Sun King Rising’s highly acclaimed debut album, Delta Tales, Pittsburgh’s Ace Acker served as producer.
Save for Queen’s Brian May, Blangero is perhaps incomparable in all the world. Like May—Queen’s guitarist—Blangero is not only a brilliant, entirely original musical artist but also a world-renowned scientist (May is an astrophysicist) specializing in genetics research.
Blangero’s music draws from his own southern family roots, the literary genius of William Faulkner, the bluesy compositional brilliance of George Gershwin, the blue-eyed soul of Elton John, and the funky rhythms and horns of 60s-70s Muscle Shoals. The album’s first single, “No. 6 Magnolia Avenue,” is classic 60s/70s horn band pop in the vein of Chicago, Spiral Staircase, and Blood, Sweat and Tears.
Concurrent with the single’s release, PeacockSunrise will debut its cinematic music video directed by Dante Ludovici, the man behind the cameras for the official “Free Will in China Blue” video from the first album, as well.

Sun King Rising’s second album, Signs & Wonders, is to be released on October 1st on CD, vinyl, and top download and streaming sites. Sun King Rising is the professional moniker of singer/songwriter/piano player John Blangero who hails from Port Isabel, Texas.
He calls his music “the new wave of southern rock and soul music.”
PeacockSunrise Records is the Americana/Rock label spinoff of Nick Katona’s successful Progressive Rock label, Melodic Revolution. As with Sun King Rising’s highly acclaimed debut album, Delta Tales, Pittsburgh’s Ace Acker served as producer.
Save for Queen’s Brian May, Blangero is perhaps incomparable in all the world. Like May—Queen’s guitarist—Blangero is not only a brilliant, entirely original musical artist but also a world-renowned scientist (May is an astrophysicist) specializing in genetics research.
Blangero’s music draws from his own southern family roots, the literary genius of William Faulkner, the bluesy compositional brilliance of George Gershwin, the blue-eyed soul of Elton John, and the funky rhythms and horns of 60s-70s Muscle Shoals. Soaring electric guitars add spice to this gumbo. It is a unique fusion of innate design with heartfelt musical expression— “the Genetics of Soul.”
“With this album, Sun King Rising has made a quantum leap,” says Katona. “Musically and lyrically, Signs & Wonders rocks hard while engaging the imagination. It is thematically coherent, complex, and sophisticated.”

Bernardo also garnered the 5th Place in Academic Excellence that was given on 14th day of November, 2008. Miss Bernardo got an another achievement for completing the TechnoLink computer curriculum and obtaining skills to develop a web page that was given at 27th day of March, 2010. She received those awards, achievements and recognitions at San Francisco Parish School, Philippines.
At the age of eight, the very young age. Miss Bernardo discovered that she has much more potential in arts. When Bernardo was on 6th grade. Her parents transfered her at Mariano C. San Juan Elementary School, Philippines. She won a 1st Place in Poster Making Contest, year 2013-2014. She explored plenty of talents. Aside from making arts, poetry-writing is also one of her best talent. Afterward, When Miss Bernardo was at the age of 12, she devoted an entire summer and vacation to writing a thousand-page poetries and novels, which remains unpublished. She began writing poetries regularly and also spent her time in drawing hundreds-pages and used it as an outlet to help release her pain from not fitting in at school, as well as her relatives, her neighbourhood and the town where she was born. Bernardo was a victim of bullying. Despite the negativities around her, she never stop and lost hope of reaching her dreams. She started joining at local contests and fairs for poetry and drawing.
Miss Bernardo attended Bernardo F. San Juan National High School, Philippines. Miss Bernardo won for the 2nd Place in Poster Making Contest in the celebration of 2014 Nutrition Month, with itʼs theme “Kalamidad Paghandaan: Gutom at Malnutrisyon Agapan” that was given on 25th day of July, 2014. She also garnered 3rd Place in Doodle Making Contest in the celebration of National Teachersʼ Month and World Teachersʼ Day with itʼs theme “My Teacher, My Hero”. She received her award on the 2nd day of October, 2014. In 2015, she earned her high school diploma.
Miss Bernardo has earned numerous awards, achievements and recognitions throughout her versatile skills and talents especially on drawing, literature-writing, poetry and many more and being received a Young Leadership Award in year 2014.
Bernardo attended University of Rizal System, Philippines. While studying, she used to work as a dean | student assistant in the same school to support her needs so her family wonʼt stress anything. She joined and participated school singing-contest and performance. In 2019, she earned her college diploma.
