Rhino Play has been working closely with schools, nurseries and community groups to design custom playground equipment suitable for different landscapes, playground sizes, budgets, and specific project needs.
For over a decade, Rhino Play has designed and installed hundreds of leading play equipment solutions for schools and nurseries across the South West. Their expertise allows them to work with various complex requirements of their clients, ensuring the development of fantastic play areas.

Rhino Play Bespoke Playground Equipment
The locally-run company has recently worked with various schools and Parish Councils designing bespoke playground units, some of the remarkable projects from the previous year include:
Meadow Primary School, Epsom: The school wanted an educational yet physically challenging play unit. Rhino Play designed a bespoke multi-level traverse wall, promoting physical development, teamwork, and fun learning.
Greater Horseshoe School, Devon: To transform the school's playground into an impressive play area that combined physical play, climbing, and lookout activities, Rhino Play's design and planning team assessed the available space and budget, recommending an all-encompassing conical play tower with a rope bridge.
Upottery Parish Council: The parish council needed a play system for all ages, with a focus on older kids' strength activities. Rhino Play installed the Axford Towers multi-play system, offering fun and physical development opportunities for Upottery children.
Stuart Hunt, Head of Sales, Advice and Design at Rhino Play, commented: “At Rhino Play, we take great pride in our ability to create bespoke playground units while meeting the specific needs of each project. Over the past year, we've had the privilege of working with schools and businesses across the South West, creating engaging playgrounds and play equipment of high quality in a variety of shapes, themes, and sizes.
“As we look ahead to 2024, we can't wait to start working on new designs, creating playground equipment that enhances the safety and enjoyment of children exploring outdoor spaces. With the mission to encourage creativity and imaginative play as well as promote physical and mental health through outdoor play, we continue creating new and exciting bespoke play units for children of all ages and abilities to enjoy.
“We are excited to see the positive impact our work will have on children's lives and the communities we serve.”
