Pressbox (Press Release) - By default, Magento only restricts the display of payment options with less rules. Merchants wish for more restriction rules & conditions. So, it is mandatory for store admins to have an advanced tool for applying payment restrictions.

Payment Restrictions is a good tool to enable limitations for particular customer groups. It uses some rules to select payment methods. Admin can restrict user’s payment choice by customers, product attributes, countries/states, store views and more.
