Digital India is a campaign launch by government of India to develop the infrastructure of the nation in the vision of government services are made available to all citizen in the form of electronically by improved online infrastructure and by increasing Internet connection or constructing the country digitally empowered in the field of technology.
History of Digital India
Digital India was introduced by prime minister of India Narendra Modi on 1 July 2015, with a perspective of developing rural areas with a high speed of internet network and improving digital literacy. It is the motive of digital India to develop all the sectors of services like education, electronic, manufacturing, products, and job opportunities. It is focused on three key areas – digital infrastructure as a service to every citizen, governance and services on demand, and digital empowerment of citizens.
