Pressbox (Press Release) -
As per the official statement of GetBlock’s team released in social media platforms and main blog, Terra (LUNA) nodes become the latest addition to its offerings stack.
Starting from April, 2022, all clients of Getblock can deploy their decentralized applications (dApps) to Terra’s shared and dedicated nodes. Terra’s mainnet can be accessed via the REST API interface.
GetBlock’s experts stress-tested the connection to Terra: both shared and dedicated nodes of this smart contracts platform are available with 99.95% uptime. Terra nodes work with the latest available version of nodes software (0.5.17).
GetBlock’s dedicated nodes for Terra work on high-end hardware with 16-thread CPUs equipped with 64 GB DDR4 and NVMe SSDs. Such hardware allows 1 GBit/sec connection speed for every active port.
Challenging Ethereum supremacy in DeFi: What is Terra and why is everyone so excited about it?
Representatives of GetBlock are beyond thrilled about the latest addition to its ecosystem of blockchain nodes as it unlocks novel opportunities for DeFi developers and entrepreneurs.
In Q2, 2022, Terra (LUNA) is the second largest blockchain by total value locked (TVL) in decentralized finances (DeFi) segment.
Terra (LUNA) amassed $29,8 billion in equivalent across its 28 protocols; this is 250% more impressive than that of BNB Chain, Terra’s closest competitor.
Terra’s most popular DeFi protocol, Anchor (ANC) is responsible for 56% of this monstruos amount. Anchor Protocol gained traction due to its unmatched 19,5% APY on stablecoins: currently it is the second most popular DeFi protocol Curve Finance (CRV).
Also, Terra is well-known as the ecosystem for TerraUSD (UST), a largest decentralized stablecoin pegged to the U.S. Dollar. Recently, it eclipsed BUSD by market cap and broke into Top 3 of stablecoins.
GetBlock constantly advances its ecosystem of nodes: it connects dApps owners to shared and dedicated nodes to 40+ blockchains.
