Added: (Mon Jan 14 2002)
Pressbox (Press Release) -
A new version of the Forte PBX systems has been added to the product portfolio offered by Partner Voxtream. The system is named Forte 32, and the Forte PBX family now consists of the Forte 32, the Forte 50 and the Forte 100.
The systems address the medium-size digital business phone system market up to approximately 120 users. They are designed to meet the market demand concerning
· attractive phone design
· user mobility
· Voice over Internet Protocol integration
· low costs for implementation, installation and maintenance
Forte 32, 50 and 100 differ in terms of number of users and features supported.
The common main features include:
Home and Satellite Offices
Forte makes it possible to locate extension numbers at unlimited distance. The only requirements are a Forte HomePhone and an ISDN Basic Rate line in the home or satellite office. Teleworkers have access to all Forte features. People calling a teleworker will not be aware that the person they are talking to is located in his home or satellite office.
The Forte feature phones are very easy to use. The display shows name or number of the calling party. You can look up people in the system directory and call them by touching a single key. Using the “navigation key” the display guides the user through the menu system. Feature buttons with LEDs allow users to monitor colleagues’ extensions and call them by one touch.
The Forte DECT phones provide mobility to employees. They are neatly designed and fully integrated to provide access to all Forte features.
Voice Mail System
The Voice Mail system provides advanced phone answering functions to all extension numbers and the possibility of queue announcements.
