MENLO PARK, Calif., United States- interWAVE® Communications International, Ltd. (Nasdaq: IWAV), a pioneer in the wireless network industry, today announced its innovative wireless GSM network solutions will be deployed in three vehicle-based solutions to provide emergency and temporary cellular coverage for the Philippines’ largest mobile operator, Globe Telecom.
In a strategic partnership, Globe Telecom will use interWAVE’s products to alleviate network congestion in Manila and provide emergency and temporary wireless network solutions. With the current demand for mobile phones in the Philippines right now, interWAVE’s vehicle-based network solutions will be deployed quickly to provide extra coverage and network capacity anywhere in the network and provide coverage for network congestion areas. The three vehicle-based network solutions will be deployed this year.
