Santa-Claus.com website, clicking the link for ‘Santa Calls’ and filling in a simple on-screen booking form that asks for the child’s name, a home or mobile telephone number and time to ring.
On Christmas Eve, Santa, accompanied by his chief Elf and Rudolph, will call and ask for each child by name. Santa - whose voice is that of actor Richard Carrington, formerly a vicar in BBC radio's 'Archers' - greets each child with a cheery, “Ho, ho, ho!” then thumbs through his Christmas present list and asks, “I hear you’ve been a good boy/girl this year, is that right?” Santa listens for a ‘yes’ before continuing the festive dialogue.
Six delightful interactive messages are tailored to children of different ages and every one is sure to make it a Christmas to remember. And, for adults who want to join the fun, there is a message for staff to send a tongue-in-cheek festive greeting to their boss asking for more time off!
The Santa Calls service is unique to Santa-Claus.com and is made possible by intelligent telephony from Cambridge-based NetCall Telecom. A call costs £5.00 of which 50 pence
