QSS Technosoft, a leading enterprise applications development company, has recently conferred with CMMI Level 3 certification as per Maturity Level 3, CMMI appraisal standard methods for Process Improvement version 1.3 by the Otabu certification Limited (UK). As a CMMI level 3 certified company, you are expected and entitled to deliver high quality trustworthy IT software services be it solutions, consultancy, support and maintenance etc.
Broadly speaking, the Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) is the official Software Engineering Institute (SEI) approach to offer benchmarked ratings for excellence comparative to Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) representations.

The assessments are put in practice by the Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) in order to recognize the core fortes and flaws in the prevailing business processes, and define competence with maturity level scores. They are typically used either as part of a process upgrading program or for evaluating potential contractors. The process clearly outlines the appraisal process as comprising of comprehensive groundwork, on-site undertakings, introductory annotations, related discoveries, and evaluations, concluding reporting and follow-on undertakings.
Some project teams and QSS Quality Assurance department participated in this exercise of CMMI audit process. This process included, in detail assessment of current set of process being applied in execution and deliveries of software projects. Eventually, the outcome was sweeter when Certifying Authority as an Auditor to this process declared that QSS Technosoft has been assessed with CMMI Level 3.
