Mahendra Singh Dhoni
Mahendra Singh Dhoni was born on 7 July 1981 in Ranchi, Bihar (now part of Jharkhand). The Rajput family was originally from Uttarakhand. and his father Pan Singh Mekan is a retired employee. it is a also held junior management positions.
Mother Devaki Devi is a housewife. Mahi has an older brother (Narendra Singh Dhoni) and an older sister (Jayanti Gupta). The brother is active in politics and the sister is an English teacher.
Dhoni completed his schooling from the DAV Jawahar Vidya Mandir at Shyamali in Ranchi, Jharkhand. it is a was an athletic student, initially interested in badminton and football more than cricket. He was known as a good goalkeeper for his school football team.
Meanwhile, Dhoni’s football coach sent him as the wicketkeeper of a local club cricket team. At that time, Dhoni impressed everyone with his good performance and was a regular wicketkeeper in the Commando Cricket Club team from 1995 to 1998.
