The revolution in women's fitness?

Added: (Tue Jun 14 2022)

Pressbox (Press Release) - A unique exercise concept called Resisted Tension (RT) is the first to attract a Trade Mark in the UK. integrating two muscle toning systems, RT is the brain child of Donna Hubbard, Founder of the Gymophobics chain of ladies Gym in the UK.
Donna wanted to develop a system that could be incorporated into a similarly unique environment: safe havens for women’s fitness, that could help those that felt let down or uncomfortable in conventional fitness settings.
By incorporating Isometric muscle contractions with conventional Isotonic resistance training, RT makes exercise easier and ideal for the sedentary user. Isometrics involves repetitive contraction of muscles and were a popular form of home exercise before the arrival of Gyms in the UK in the early 1960’s. Once Gyms became popular, Isometrics were discarded as inferior to Isotonic (resistance) training but recent science shows that Isometric contractions are in fact far more effective at toning and strengthening muscles than had ever been realised before.
By integrating Isometrics with conventional Isotonic training, far less resistance is required to achieve the same benefit!
Some 250,000 women of all ages now use RT at Gymophobics Centres throughout the UK to achieve effective inch and weight loss without the need for heavy weight lifting.
Gymophobics is expanding in 2022, to bring this unique easy and low impact workout with fast results to even more ladies throughout the UK.
