JOBS FOR THE BOYS

Added: (Mon Jan 14 2002)

Pressbox (Press Release) - After years of gender preference within our administrative job sectors, the boys might at last get a look in.

For men of all ages to gain employment in many of today’s offices, the task is not impossible but they would almost certainly be considered secondary to the hoards of applicants young and female keeping the interviewee seats warm. The gender balance that can be seen in nearly all offices is traditionally 80% female and this is an age of equal opportunity.

Manbalance is a new recruitment process, the very first of it’s kind that hopes to level this disparity. Whereas most recruitment agencies found on the high street and in freebie magazines cater especially for work which will ultimately bar men such as secretarial and PA work, Manbalance endeavours to practice the opposite. By selecting an entirely male candidate base and targeting them towards the exclusively female admin sectors, the 80%/20% gender ratio must eventually level up.

In order to help with this project, we seek male and female employers of all blue chip companies who want to assist in their company’s unfair selection process. Headhunters who believe in equal opportunities.

Also required is some media coverage for this new agency and would like to do a newspaper feature of it’s presence and objectives.
