Imagine the fun of being in touch with "old" friends from your school or
college days. Or contacting long-lost friends from places you've worked or
the armed Forces.
You can even find out of an "old" friends is looking for you!

This is now possible through a new Aberdeen-based website www.greengnu.com

The site has several helpful features AND THEY ARE ALL FREE. You can search
for friends by primary
school, secondary school, college/university, work place and The Forces -
where ever they are in the world.

If the person you are looking for is not yet registered with GreenGnu their
name is printed on a "Seeking U" page so they will know you are looking for
them.
Registration withyour details is easy so that people can be in contact with
you.Your details are secure and your email will never be given to anyone except bona fide GreenGnu members.

The site helps you arrange reunions. Type in a few details and
you can see if anyone from your old school or work place is registered.

You can even post a message to get people to contact you.

In case you're wondering - a gnu is a wildebeest.

Bill Robb, a management consultant in Aberdeen wanted to have a bit of fun
and
provide something useful on the web. "Every day of the year we see letters
and snippets in newspapers from people trying to organise reunions. GreenGnu
should be a great help - and fun too!"

Bill's goal is to have one million members by the end of 2002.

Since the site launched in mid-September members from as far afield as the
United States, Canada, Australia, Malasia and New Zealand have enrolled.
