AUTHOR ATTACKED BY MAFIA OVER BOOK

Added: (Thu May 17 2001)

Pressbox (Press Release) - Hello my name is Robert R. Yates. I have completed a cookbook titled, "Recipes to Die For" The cookbook is a Mafia based cookbook. It is a hit list of Italian recipes. It is full of authentic dishes enjoyed by the mob that I acquired from going to know Mafia hangouts and befriending known Mobsters for a year and half. The book has over 90 + recipes ranging from appetizers, pasta's, sides, main courses and desserts. The book is also full of Mafia terms, facts and trivia based on actual events and Movies and TV. Now if are a fan of Mafia films or TV shows you know that good percentage of there time is spent enjoying meals with their friends and family. So I am giving the average Joe a chance to feel as if they are "one of the family" In the book I discuss the troubles I had acquiring the recipes I give out in the book. I have been threatened by the Mafia, beat up, even stabbed. The book will be available in all major book stores as well as online in June. If interested in doing an article contact me at 716-297-9006 or reply to this e-mail. I would like a reply either way if possible so that I know if I should further pursue your company.

Thanks
Robert

MAFIA COOKBOOK AUTHOR MOBBED WITH THREATS

NIAGARA FALLS, NY -- It looks like the
Mafia is more concerned with keeping its recipes secret than
its business dealings.
That's what author Robert Yates found out while
researching an upcoming Mafia cookbook titled "Recipes To Die
For."
Yates went to various restaurants supposedly frequented
by the Mob and asked the chefs for their favorite recipes
figuring they would be flattered.
Instead, he claims he was mobbed with threats including
one guy who threatened to take him to "the sausage factory"
if any of his family recipes were printed.
Despite that, Yates is confident his book will be a hit
with hit men, thanks to Mafia menu items like "Bloody
Bruzholi," a lasagna-like dish with meat, cheese and red
sauce and a sausage-pepper sandwich called "the Hit Man."
