Austin, TX – October 2, 2006 - Halloween is the time to visit San Antonio, Texas, USA, but not just for the festivities on their famous Riverwalk. Just a block away from the river, the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) gather from October 29-November 2, 2006 for the 2006 AAPS Annual Meeting and Exposition. Over 500 exhibitors will display new technologies and services and that includes, Embark Scientific, a new face at AAPS.
Until now, it primarily partnered with Biotech companies and Academia focusing on providing frontline researchers with affordable services that eluded them in the past. Showcasing an array of new DNA and Proteomics services, Embark hopes to draw interest. Veterinarian Pharmaceuticals could be a good fit for them since partnering with a USDA-certified pet allergy laboratory for development of diagnostic testing early 2006.
There is no doubt that it will be one of the smaller companies exhibiting, but when asked about whether this concerned Embarks President, J. Sam Sutton, Jr., he replied, “Our company is streamlined and our overhead is low and that means great prices for quality work. We’re excited about our services and about AAPS and I hope people will stop by to meet us”. By the way, when he says meet us – he means it, since he will be one of the folks working the booth (#102) too.
