VNU’s PC MAGAZINE AND COMPUTERACTIVE STRENGTHENS ITS PUBLISHING TEAM

VNU is pleased to announce recent moves in its publishing team that will serve to strengthen its existing brands.
Raphael has been promoted to from his role as marketing and business development manager on Computeractive magazine to associate publisher of PC Magazine. Raphael has worked for VNU in London for two years following two years spent at VNU Italy as product manager on PC Magazine. Since his time at VNU he has worked as marketing manager on Computeractive magazine where he has developed a series of successful brand extensions including the recently launched WebActive magazine.
Simon also joins PC Magazine as publisher, in addition to his role as Computeractive publisher. Simon joined VNU in March 2001 from Future Publishing where he worked for eight years as group publisher and built up the music division to eleven magazines in total, which ranged from Classical Music through to Metal Hammer and then on to technology titles such as Computer Music.
Raphael’s position as marketing manager of Computeractive is to be filled by Zoe Rouch who moves from her role as marketing manager on VNU’s PC monthlies. Zoe joined VNU in 1998 where she worked as marketing executive on Computeractive. She now returns as marketing manager.
