KRATON™ Polymers announces hiring of Gary Spitz as CFO

LONDON (March 15, 2001)
The KRATON™ Polymers Business announced today that Gary M. Spitz will be appointed Chief Financial Officer. Ripplewood Holdings, LLC recently completed the acquisition of KRATON Polymers from the Royal Dutch/Shell Group of Companies. The KRATON Polymers Business is the world’s leading manufacturer and supplier of styrenic block copolymers (SBC) which are used in numerous industrial and consumer applications including; adhesives and sealants, footwear, roads and roofing and various compounding and polymer systems.

Gary Spitz joins KRATON after serving for the last three years as the Chief Financial Officer of Sterling Chemicals. Prior to Sterling, Gary Spitz was employed for nearly 20 years with W. R. Grace & Company.
