Davies Stamps his mark at Liberty

Pressbox (Press Release) - ‘DAVIES STAMPS HIS MARK AT LIBERTY’

Liberty Radio’s new programme controller, Tom Davies is making an enormous impact at Liberty in the first few weeks of his new role. Davies has signed Matthew James, originally with popular 90’s boy band Bad Boys Inc., plus former Radio One Presenter Neale James. Tom is also re-vamping Liberty’s Breakfast Show by introducing actress Sadie Nine and actor Nick Pandolfi (of Grange Hill Fame). The two who will co-present the quirky and upbeat show which promises to wake ‘London up with a laugh’.

Davies has extensive experience in radio and TV, spending nine years at EMAP and Border TV before being head-hunted by Bruno Brookes and has also been programme controller at Storm before being poached by Liberty.

Commenting on Davies’ dynamism Paul Hill, Managing Director, Liberty Radio says “Tom is an extremely experienced programme controller and it is great to have him on board. His hunger for challenge and his vast knowledge of music is already proving invaluable to the station’s output”.

Tom Davies says, “This is an exciting time for Liberty and my aim is to take the station’s programming forward. In the London market credibility is essential. Liberty is now becoming unique and entertaining enough to make London sit up and listen”.
