NEW PENSION ADMINISTRATION APPOINTMENTS AT AON
London - 5 February 2001 - Aon has today announced three senior appointments within its pension administration business.
John Reeve has been appointed Managing Director of Pension Administration at Aon, leading a nationwide team administering over 600 pension schemes, including many large schemes such as BP, Coca Cola Schweppes, Centrica and National Power. He was previously Regional Director at Aon responsible for all services in the Southern Region. The appointment is part of Aon's move to recognise that Pensions Administration is a growing and specialised business that requires a dedicated management structure.
Other appointments include Mark Chadwick, who has joined from Opus Consulting as Pensions Manager reporting to John Reeve and based at Aon's Manchester office. His primary responsibilities will be to examine Aon's Operations, Practices and Procedures and to advise the administration board directly as to how it should seek to reduce unit costs, increase efficiency and most importantly, improve service to clients.
Janet McMorrow is also joining Aon from Paymaster. She will be reporting to Fergus Clarke, and will be concentrating on Aon's strategy to service the increasing trend towards hybrid schemes, which mix elements of both defined benefit and defined contribution.
"Over the last few years there has been an increasing trend for both large and smaller companies to outsource their pension scheme administration to specialist companies as regulatory and administrative tasks have grown," said John Reeve. "Aon has close to 50 years' experience in this market and this is proving immensely valuable to our clients as they consider and move to outsourced administration. I am delighted to be taking on this new role in such exciting times," he added.
