Pressbox (Press Release) - Remerge Doubles Down on APAC, Expanding into China, Korea and Southeast Asia

Seoul / Singapore / Tokyo, November 1, 2017

After the successful launch of its Tokyo office in January 2017, Remerge increases its presence in China, Korea and SEA, tapping into markets whose combined mobile in-app ad spend is expected to grow to $77.3 BN by 2021

Remerge’s APAC team is joined by seasoned ad tech veterans Martje Abeldt (ex App Annie), Min Wang (ex TUNE) and Hide Cho (ex Septeni America).

CEO Pan Katsukis: “We’ve seen great traction in Asia across almost all app verticals, delivering highly successful performance campaigns especially for Games, Retail and Travel. It’s a mobile-first region, where apps play a central part in people’s day-to-day activities. This creates an enormous opportunity for app developers, if they can manage to keep users using their apps after they downloaded it. With our SDK-less platform custom-built for app retargeting, app developers can re-engage their dormant users at scale and at very economical acquisition cost/price point, to increase retention and finally drive more in-app revenues.”

He adds: “2017 has been an amazing year for us. After we became profitable mid 2016, we’ve opened 4 new offices (NYC, Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore) and more than doubled our team from 30 to 80 people within just 12 months, thereof 25% focused on R&D.”
