US building material receives China’s highest rating

Added: (Mon Dec 04 2000)

Pressbox (Press Release) - Sentex China, Ltd., an American venture with numerous patents pending, has received China’s highest rating for their unique building materials. With this rating and approval by the Chinese Government, Sentex China, Ltd. can begin to manufacture and sell SENTEX building materials for use in buildings and homes in China.

To begin this venture a US investor group is being formed to fund the first 2 of 10 factories that will produce SENTEX building materials for sale in China.

Each of these five million dollar factories, in phase one, has a maximum production capacity of $22,000,000 annually. An initial funding of $10 million will put the first two factories online. Return on investment is targeted at around 37% before taxes.

According to a Sentex China, Ltd., spokesman, the timing on this venture is perfect:

“At the recent Beijing Sino-Japan building materials exchange meeting,” says Sentex spokesman Mike Waddell, “it was announced that developing new wall materials will be on top of the agenda for China's building materials industry in the next five years. From now on, housing construction in 160 Chinese large and medium cities will substitute new walling materials for the hollow clay bricks to achieve energy efficiency and housing improvement. The work is to be completed in three years.”

Other market factors, Waddell cited, that contribute to make China a prime market for SENTEX building materials are:

· China’s rapidly growing population, which exceeds 1.2 billion, and is in need of replacement housing and new housing.

· An estimated 2 million people whose homes are being displaced by damming up the Yangtze River to produce hydroelectric power and provide flood control.

· An industrial boom that is stimulating the Chinese economy from border to border and an increase from 350 million urban population to over 450 million by the year 2000. Over 400 new cities by the year 2010 housing 60% of China’s total population.

CHINA, Ltd. business plan and offering circular can contact: Michael J. Waddell at mjw@worldtrade.cc, or 1-502-802-4177.
